Organized by the AIUBian in Europe Association, with the team of 13 alumni, the gathering brought together the university’s growing European community for an evening of reconnection and celebration in SAALBAU Gallus, Frankfurt, Germany, on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

The event drew an enthusiastic turnout of around 200 alumni and their families, traveling in from 8 EU countries to reunite with old classmates, meet fellow AIUB graduates building lives and careers across Europe, and reaffirm their ties to their alma mater.

The gathering was graced by distinguished guests including the AIUB board members, Dr. Hasanul Hasan, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, Dr. carmen Lamagna and Ms. Shania Abedin alongside Councilor Stephan Seglar (CDU) of Frankfurt, Hessen whose presence underscored the strength of AIUB’s international standing and the warm relationship between the university’s alumni network and the city of Frankfurt.

The evening carried a spirit of nostalgia and pride, as alumni shared stories of their AIUB years, celebrated each other’s achievements abroad, and looked ahead to strengthening the EU chapter’s role in AIUB’s global alumni community
